Benvenuti!
The idea of an early childhood foreign language program began over ten years ago. As the daughter of Italian parents, I was raised and educated both in the United States and Italy. I recognized the immense personal and professional value of being bilingual, and as a mother, I wanted the same for my son.
As I began to immerse myself in this new venture, I was supported by enthusiastic families and educators alike. What started as Italian for Toddlers has blossomed into The Carousel of Languages, providing preschoolers with an extensive foreign language experience offering Italian, French, Spanish and Mandarin.
As new research continues to unfold, we now know that children have the greatest potential to develop multiple languages at an early age, highest between birth and six years, then undergoes a steady decline. Studies on brain development indicate that early exposure to more than one language builds a more powerful brain with faster and more efficient synaptic connections.
My greatest joy is instilling in children the knowledge and skills to embrace culture and language. Through collaboration with early childhood specialists, foreign language educators and parents, I strive to find and create beautiful, engaging and inspiring educational materials.
I would like to personally invite you to discover our world of languages.
Cordiali saluti,
